Fifth Grade vs. Teachers

The fifth graders played basketball against the teachers on Friday.  Ethan talked about this match up for weeks.  In fact, he had trouble sleeping on Thursday night because he was so excited.
Mrs. Hall and Mrs. Hudnall played.  Link and I had a hard time choosing a team to cheer for when they were in the game!
It was a close game, but the fifth graders did win!
We had a very happy boy when the game was over!

Sunday Skiing

We had so much fun on Saturday skiing.  We decided to go back on Sunday and ski some more.
 We started off at Kiddieland.
They were doing great, so we took them over to the tow-rope side of the mountain.
Nate taught Lincoln for two hours.
He had so much!  He would get so jealous when Nate would ski with Ethan.
The weather was amazing.  It was a warm 40 degrees and sunny!
Ethan picked it up so fast.  He is really good.

Nate loves this picture.  He said that Link moves his mouth to the side when he is concentrating.
Ethan was so happy that he was better than his MOM!
We had an amazing weekend!  All four of us were so sad when we left.
This is our last trip to Bavaria.

Valentine's Day Skiing

The boys had ski lessons on Saturday, so Nate and I went up the mountain.  He was so good and worked so hard helping me get better.  We enjoyed a kid free lunch and more skiing before we headed back down to watch the kids at their lesson.

Lincoln's Fun Week at School

Lincoln's class celebrated the 100th day of school, President's Day, and Valentine's Day last week.
On the 100th day of school, the kids spent the day doing lots of activities.
It was a jam packed fun day!
We took pictures of the kids and uploaded them into an app called Aging booth.
It transformed their pictures into what the kids would like years later!
The kids wrote a story about what their life would be like at 100 years old.
The boys loved stacking 100 cups.  They worked together so well.
Sadly, it was the Lamar boys last day of school.
On President's Day, President Abraham Lincoln led the morning calendar work.
They worked so hard on their Lincoln and Washington faces and writing activity.
By Friday, they were ready for some Valentine's Day fun!  I loved watching them play Bingo.  It was hilarious to hear their cheers and groans when the numbers were called out.
Lincoln scored in the Valentine department!

Snowy Sunday

We woke up to lots of snow on Sunday!
I always have my camera in my purse.  I made Nate pull over a few times on the way to church.

This is our village, Erzenhausen.

Basketball Boredom

Nate and I really enjoy watching Ethan's basketball games.
The kids having finally figured it out and are playing really hard!
Their coach is fantastic too!
Lincoln does not share the same enthusiasm that Nate and I do.

These pictures were all taken before half time!

Honor Roll

All A's for the second quarter!
