The Flu :(

The flu has swept through our house.
Nate got it last Sunday. Ethan got it on Wednesday. Lincoln got it Friday.

All of the boys had a fever. Luckily, this week I had two snow days, so I only had to take off one day. Thank heaven for Motrin. Both of the boys seem to really respond well to Motrin. We are all so ready for summer. Hopefully, warmer weather will come soon and we can air this house out!

SNOW DAY!

Well, we had another snow day today. I think this puts us at five for the year. I took some pictures this morning.

I thought I would put them on the blog while Lincoln is napping and Ethan is watching Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. I think he is associating snow with Christmas.

When Nate showed him the snow out his window this morning the first thing he asked for was his new snow shovel that MeMaw and Pappy got him for Christmas. Thankfully, Nate told him he could shovel once Nate got home from work. I am not feeling like getting the boys geared up for the snow!

Best Friends

Today, when I got home from work, I said, "hello best friend" to Ethan. He said, "No Mommy I am Daddy's best friend today. You can be my best friend tomorrow." I guess it's just too hard to be best friends with anybody besides Daddy. He must be HIGH MAINTENANCE.

Ethan is FINALLY playing in his room by himself

Ethan has finally started playing in his room alone (for a few minutes). Today we took pictures of the rooms in the house for the realtor. While we were taking pictures, I noticed Ethan had shut his door. I called for him and he peeked his head out and said, "What Mommy?". I asked what he was doing and he said, "Just playing." What a great thing to start!! HURRAH!

Lincoln is starting to crawl

It's just a matter of time before Lincoln takes off! He is crawling about three or four crawls and then falls flat. He can definitely get to anything he wants now. Ethan has mixed emotions about the crawling. He gets so excited when he starts to crawl, but if Lincoln crawls to one of his toys he's not as excited.
