Today was Marilyn's last day! Of course we had to get one last picture opportunity in!!
Marilyn has been working super hard keeping the kids busy and helping us unpack and get the house together. We tried to make the weekend a little less stressful. On Friday, I took her to get her nails done. One of the bad things about moving is that everywhere you go is a new experience. We tried a nail salon pretty close to the house. It was HORRIBLE. They spoke in another language the entire time. For some reason, Mar and I had the two people that talked the entire time. It was so bad; Mar's guy cut her nails down to the quick. Then, he forgot to paint them. We wanted to get out of their so bad we didn't go back to get them painted.
It seems that we have lucked out AGAIN on our hotel selection. This time the hotel we booked was full, so they paid for an adjoining room with a suite next door. We had a great room!! The next morning we headed to the Coca-Cola museum.
Many people recommended this as a "must do" in Atlanta. My boys do not drink soda. They say it's "hot." So, I wasn't sure how they would like the museum, but I think they enjoyed the time out of the car!
We ended the tour by tasting 60 varieties of sodas from around the world.
The movers came yesterday and therefore we headed out of town. We drove three hours last night. Today we drove seven. We stopped in Atlanta. As we pulled off the interstate, I noticed Pirate Cove's miniature golf. After dinner, we took the fellas for some putt-putt to give them a fun break.
Little bit enjoyed the whole pirate theme. Notice where his ball is.....
A SHARK. OH NO!!!!!
It's been a long week! As we turned the corner, I saw this fella!
They had so much fun. Tomorrow morning we are going to the Coca-Cola museum, eating lunch, and then heading to Montgomery.
