The church has left the building

Our church had a super short (15 minute) worship and then we literally
left the building to give back to the community.
The church split up and went to over 10 locations.  We chose Reality and Truth a ministry that clothes and feeds the homeless and less fortunate.

While Ethan chose garden work, Nate, Link, and I decided to sort clothing donations.
This look on my face is so fake.
I was so overwhelmed by the piles and piles and piles of clothing.  I had no clue where to start.
Thank the Lord that Nate and James came up with a plan and I was just able to help execute it!
We sorted 12 bags of men's shorts in less than an hour!
It was such a gorgeous day.  These kids enjoyed working in the dirt!
After three hours I realized that my freckly fair skinned baby was out without sunscreen.  He had a farmer's sunburn on Monday!  He had a great time!

Easter

Our church had a community wide Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday.
Ethan helped the youth hide the eggs.  The hunts were divided up by age and location at church.  Link was going crazy because his group was the last to go!
Link is in this group somewhere!
Link gave up candy for lent so he was excited to find lots of eggs!
 Adam, Link, Ethan, and Noah!
Happy Easter!

Miami Day Three

We finally had some warm weather on our last day!  We had a beach day!!

After our beach time, we headed to the pool.
Ethan curled up and read while Link practiced his diving skills.
We ended our trip with some more yummy Cuban food!
 AND another food truck stop!
The fellas found Italian ice!!
We loved Miami!!

Miami Day Two

On day two, we drove into the city (we stayed on the beach) to visit the neighborhood of Wynwood.
 Wynwood has some amazing graffiti.

This picture cracks me up.  Poor Link!!!!
We tried another local Cuban restaurant.
We had to try a Cuban sandwich.
We promised the boys that we would go to the beach on day two. The problem was that the high was 70 and the winds were 20 mph!  The silly boys loved the water!
Nate and I froze on our chairs!
We were all SUPER excited for dinner!  We found a park that had food trucks on Tuesday evenings.
The fish tacos were our favorite!

 Link loved the buttery corn!
Link and I loved the monster burgers!  We also enjoyed empanandas and lobster rolls.
We ended the night with some yummy mango!

Miami Day One

We were super excited to go to Miami for Spring Break.  Our first day was super chilly, so we went to do an airboat ride on the Everglades.
We definitely needed ear protection and sweatshirts!

My buddy wanted to sit on the edge.  I made sure to hold on tightly!
 It was cold and loud!

 Our boat driver/guide was great!
We saw two alligators Haley and Scar!

After our tour, we found a local Cuban restaurant right close by.
We enjoyed a couple guava empanadas.
 We all LOVED the frita.
We enjoyed a drive to the Biscayne Key to see their light house and run around a bit.
 The boys did some exploring.
We ended our evening enjoying some fresh crabs on South Beach.
