Field Trip

I went with my big boy on his first Kindergarten Field Trip! We were lucky enough to be paired with one of his best friends, Cali.
Once we got into the Pumpkin Patch, we paired up with three other kids from his class, another parent, and Mr. Kurland. Here is our "crew!" They had such a good time running everywhere together! They all got along so well.
We started at the slides.
We stopped by the dairy cow. Cali was not a fan of the smell.After lunch we went on the hayride.
We took a quick picture before they picked out their pumpkins.
And one more as a whole class!

I had to get one more of these two before we left. It was a nice day! The kids were great, and we had such a great time.

Attitude

I told Ethan this morning to leave his attitude outside! This afternoon, I had to remind him that he needs to get rid of his attitude. He had to "think" about it in his room. On his way upstairs, he yells, "It's in my bones, ya know!!!"

He has really started drawing and writing lately.

When we gave Lincoln the marker, he used his as a gun!

It's been a LONG week!!

Link's field trip

Link's class went on a field trip to Burke Farm on Wednesday. They rode the bus and were able to bring a pumpkin home. When I asked him what his favorite part of the pumpkin patch was, he responded, "I loved the pirate ship." It turns out they have a pirate ship and he was Captain Hook. The other kids were his pirates. Before Link became obsessed with pirates, I never noticed how popular pirates were!

Fan Club

Memaw, Pappy, Daddy, Lincoln, and Mommy went to Ethan's basketball class on Sunday.

Lincoln requested that he fly into the class.

Ethan likes to be the FIRST person to everything...including basketball. Since we were first, Daddy was able to shoot around with both of the boys.

This was the first class that they actually played a mini-game. The boys are learing defense. Ethan's getting better every class. He loves, loves, loves going!!!! He was so happy that his biggest fans came this week.
