Paris for the weekend

 Plans to go to Paris for the weekend started over dinner Thursday night.  By Friday night, they were set!  We were going to make Paris our third capital city with the Gabrielskis (Madrid and Berlin).

After a six and a half hour trip, we stopped at the Louvre!  

We did a super quick tour of the Louvre and headed to Notre Dame.

We walked over the Seine and stopped in for some dinner.  

 Jessica and I ordered the LARGE Cola Lights.  When the bill came we realized that our sodas were 13 dollars EACH!  My meal was only $13.50.  It was a good Cola Light!

                                       Following dinner, we dashed over to the Eiffel Tower. We had every intention of staying until the twinkle lights came on, but the black storm cloud scared us back to the hotel room!  

                          We made it with 15 minutes to spare until the downpour started! 

                                     We were bummed, but it was a good call to head back.

Sometime in the middle of the night, Ethan woke up sick.  So our Sunday, was very limited.  We popped out at a metro stop to take a picture of the Arc Du Triomphe and the Concorde and then headed back home. The poor fella feels horrible, but was a trooper today!  It was a whirlwind trip, but it was so fun to see Paris with the besties!
