Waterpark

So, we tried the Waterpark again today....WITH DADDY! I took them both Wednesday and we had to leave because Mr. Independent, Lincoln, decided to take off on his own. I had a mini-heart attack and we left!
This amazing Pirate Ship seems to be the problem. Lincoln begins to think he is a real pirate and he is invincible.
Today, I heard him ARGHing at two bigger boys today because they had the nerve to get near his pirate steering wheel. How dare they!!!!
My big man has gotten brave this summer and loves all the slides!
Daddy was a favorite today....which is a good thing this week. Link has been momma's boy and I think Daddy was getting jealous!
He only wanted Daddy to take him down the slides.
The went up and down this slide dozens of times.

This slide is for the "big" boys. Daddy and E went down it twice. The tube is a four person tube and Nate said it is HEAVY!!!

Ethan loved it!!!! We had a great time today! I seriously wish we had gone here before August. I think we really would have enjoyed this earlier in the year.

Playseum

Jenn had a great idea to take the kids to an indoor Playseum in Bethesda today. If the GPS had of cooperated, we would have been there super early. It didn't so we had lunch and then headed to the Playseum.
The fellas found the firestation first and Jenn and I had to coerce them away after 15 minutes. A boy band?? They could be called Leaping up the Hill??? Just a thought.
Ethan found a knight costume and I know this will shock you......but Lincoln found a pirate costume. My picture didn't turn out because he was running around screaming AHOY Matey in his pirate voice.
Again....we coerced them to another room. I thought this room captured their personalities really well. Lincoln put everything in his cart and Ethan went around putting everything back. Aaron just zoomed around with his cart.
When it was time to go, we went to the last room (animal room), they had a one eyed frog named, Pirate Pete. Another shocker....Lincoln loved him! He cracks me up!

So....in a nut shell, we will be back. They loved it! And as you can tell it did all I wanted it to do...wear them out! They both slept for three hours this afternoon. I had to wake them up!

Six Flags America

Nate found a great deal at Six Flags America this week. If you buy a day pass you can trade it in for a season pass. The park is about 35 minutes away. Their Looney Tunes park is perfect for the boys.
Lincoln was able to ride most rides with Ethan. I think that there were only three that Ethan had to ride by himself.
Ethan has become so much braver this summer and I think that he owes a lot of it to his dare devil brother who LOVES the rides.
Nate is itching to get on the big roller coasters, but for now these little ones will have to do! He tried to get me to go on one big one with him, but my neck is finally feeling really good for the first time in seven years. There is no way I am going to mess it up for a roller coaster!

Chesapeake Bay

We drove about an hour and a half into Maryland today! I did a little research and found a beach for the boys to dig and play.
They were in HEAVEN! They loved the sand. They built lots of sandcastles. Lincoln would dig and dump the dirt everywhere....including the cooler! :)
Ethan loved running to the water and getting hit feet wet. You know he eventually was totally wet!
There were lots of horseshoe crabs.
Eventually we were able to get Lincoln away from the sand and into the water. He would get his feet and say...AHHH...wet feet!!!

We will definitely go back! The kids had a BLAST...and so did we!!!
