All week I had told the kids that we would stay for the fireworks on Thursday night. I had NO clue the stinkers would wake up at 6:00 am. By 3:00pm we knew that there was no way we would all make it for the fireworks. Come to find out....they didn't care about the fireworks. Link remembered the Mickey ice cream he ate during last years fireworks and that is all he wanted!
After dinner (which ended with cake and ice cream), we went and bought MORE ice cream. This time they got their Mickey ice cream. We sat in front of the castle and enjoyed our last few minutes of the park!
They were happy boys who were fast asleep in their beds before the fireworks even started. I think Nate and I may have been, too!
