My Daredevil

We made it to the pool after work today! I remembered the camera this time and the towels!!
Lincoln started off close to Daddy.
About a half hour in, Lincoln got really brave and started letting go! He wanted to do "all by MYFELF!!!"

Just Coloring and Eating

Lincoln: Hey Mom, you know what I'm doing? Just foloring (coloring) and eating! That's all!
In true three year old fashion, he repeated this over and over and over and over!

The party

Jaden, Rachel, and Joe came over for dinner and some playing. Lincoln talked about them coming all day. He kept asking when the party was going to start. Jaden and Ethan did some running on the Wii.
They were hilarious!

Lincoln had so much fun playing with everyone...including his little Daddy!

Date night

Nate and I found a babysitter on sittercity.com this week. We tried her out Friday night so that Nate and I could go out! Her name is Mandi and she is going to school in the fall to be a Speech/Language Pathologist. How bad can she be, right! She was great! The fellas had a great time!
They enjoyed a bath and waffles for dinner before she got here! I didn't think the order very well. That's why Link is wearing a bib!
Nate and I went to a seafood restaurant and got cupcakes in Georgetown. We were done by 8:00 but too embarrassed to go home that early. We are getting so old. We ended up at Dick's getting some running shorts for Nate!

Traitors

These little traitors have abandoned the Mommy ship and jumped over to the Daddy boat! Nate was bugging me tonight and I said, "Ethan tell your Daddy to leave me alone." He says, "I can't...I love him!"

Fishing

One of the kids at Ethan's school went fishing with his Dad last week. Ever since then, Ethan has been talking about Nate taking him fishing. Nate got the boys fishing poles, and we went fishing today.
We are going to chalk this one up to a "practice" run. We had to find our own worms and one of our reels bummed out on us. We had a few bites, but no fish!

Lincoln held the rod for about ten seconds and then started finding sticks and rocks to throw in the water. I don't think he helped our effort.
