Baby

When I picked Link up today, his teacher told me he went to time out for dumping sand on a two-year old's head. To top it off, he had no remorse. He even smiled about it. I told her I would talk to him about this afternoon and he would lose the Ipod while we are waiting to pick Ethan up.
So...here's how the conversation went.
Me: Lincoln, it is not nice to dump sand on your friend's head. We do NOT do that! How would you feel if your friend did that to you?
Lincoln: I am not friends with those babies!
Me: ****crickets****

I like that church

Not only did Ethan start Kindergarten, Lincoln moved out of the nursery into the three-year old classroom at church. Last Sunday, they painted in his room. When we arrived at church yesterday, he smiled and said, "I like that church. Am I going to that paint room again?"

Pumpkin patch 2010

Who would have thought that the last weekend in September would be 90 degrees? We definitely didn't when we bought tickets to go to the pumpkin patch this weekend.
This pumpkin patch is on steroids. We started with the hayride. They have tons of animals. The boys were not so thrilled with these piglets. They were very stinky!
The slides were a much bigger hit!!! Thanks to Justin for taking Link so I could get a picture!
Both boys got to milk a cow.
I told Nate that I don't think I have ever even milked a cow.
But...once again...the slides were such a bigger hit!
There was free apples and cider. I told both of the boys to save their apples until after lunch. Yeah....that didn't happen!
I dressed them for fall pictures. I tell myself EVERY year that when we come the next year I am going to get their "good" fall picture FIRST!!! As you can see....it didn't happen!

The noisy train

It has been a LONG, LONG, LONG time since the "noisy train" has been out. AND....there is a reason for that......that thing is NOISY!!!!! BUT, they love it! They love it! They LOVE it!!!!! Daddy is working late and the boys can occupy themselves forever with the train. Daddy will probably NOT love the big ole mess that the noisy train creates!!! (You only see a quarter of the train pieces we have!!!)

Skills

Well...Nate I bit the bullet and signed Ethan up for a basketball class. We have been putting off putting him in some kind of organized sport because we love having the freedom on the weekends to do what we want to do as a family! I felt that a class that teaches the skills he needs to play basketball would be a great start! It's every Sunday at 1:30 (i.e. Lincoln naptime!!!).
He loved it!!!! The funniest part of this picture is that he is RUNNING! The reason this is so funny is that he has been "limping" since the big fall on Saturday! For some odd reason the limping escalated today going into school. He's hilarious!
