Well, the DC trip went well. I got two job offers. We were able to drive around and see a couple locations where I think we would like to live. Traffic was a major issue. The poor boys spent the entire trip in the car. Luckily, we had the DVD player in the car. I think Nate and I can recite every word from Cars and 101 Dalmations. Our hotel room was great. The boys had plenty of room to move around. Ethan loved running down the hall to the elevator and Lincoln crawled everywhere. The metro station was a hit with Ethan. Once we got off at the Washington monument, Ethan was ready to get back on the train....and it was so cold we were, too!
Oh well....we will live here for four years...we will have PLENTY of time to site see then.

I'm dreaming of a white EASTER???? really????
It seems everytime I go to Nate's parents it snows! This time would be no different. We had great weather on Friday and Saturday. When we woke up Sunday morning, snow was on the ground. So, Ethan had to find eggs in the snow. By lunch time the snow had melted. Ethan had a great time finding the eggs and Lincoln loved shaking the eggs once they were in the house.

Mar's visit
Mar was packed and ready to head back home. Lincoln decided he needed to help her pack....or should we say unpack! Ethan was so upset with this. He yelled, "BINKY NO!!!!" He rushed over and zipped her suitcase up. We had such a great visit with Mar! Ethan loved every minute. Thanks for all your help Mar! We love you.

Record Snow
A true "BLIZZARD" started Friday about 9:00 am.
I left work around 11:30 and it was bad!
By Saturday at 4:00 we had about 13 inches.
Today we took Ethan out for a few minutes. (Which turned into 45 minutes.)
We had to literally carry him kicking and screaming inside. He absolutely loved it.
We waited until Lincoln was ready to take a nap. I guess he sensed we were having fun because he started
screaming and Aunt Mar had to get him. We couldn't
leave him out of the the fun!

I guess you can play with my toys.
I was washing bottles and Nate was getting his lunch ready. It became awfully quite. We both looked at each other and then looked into the living room. They were both playing with the cars. Ethan didn't mind that Lincoln was playing with his cars. Lincoln wasn't taking cars away from Ethan. It was amazing! It lasted about 10 minutes. Hopefully this is just the beginning.

First day back!
After a full eight days home, Lincoln made it back to school pretty healthy. Ethan made it back after six days home. This has been the longest week ever. I stay home for three months during the summer and it's never been as bad as this past week. It's amazing how sunshine and warm weather changes a mood. We need warm weather so bad!!! The upside of us being home was we were the ones that got to see Lincoln crawl! He's doing really well. Ethan has not had a great week. He had three really bad days at school. Yesterday morning when I took him to school, I told him if he listened and took a nap at school he could have M&M's and a movie after school. He told me, "No, I am not going to nap. I am not going to be BERY good." Ughh..sure he enough when I got there he was on the REDLINE. I hope that this weekend changes everyone's mood! Including MINE!
